The Scotsman MC1848SW-32 Prodigy ELITE Water Cooled Cube Style Ice Maker is a great option for dispensing small ice cubes. This unit has a production capacity of 1900 pounds over a 24 hour period. It features a self-contained condenser. There is also a “hook and latch” system which allows for easy access to the interior of the unit. The product utilizes an R-404A refrigerant. It can be matched with the BL1040S, BL1360S, and BL1660S bins.
This model is part of the Prodigy ELITE line, which is designed to improve upon the reliability of the Prodigy Plus series. The new Preservation Mode feature adds a useful failsafe for efficient power use. Rather than shutting off, this machine will kick into Preservation Mode when it encounters a freeze/harvest anomaly.
The product utilizes an integrated ICELINQ app, which can provide real-time diagnostics.
