    Cup absorbs odors

I am a patient in a hospital which served me coffee in this type of cup. I found it to have absorbed odors from previous uses. As soon as I put the cup to my mouth, I smelled an offensive odor. I tried to drink the coffee, but I could not get past the smell of this cup. I dont normally leave reviews, but I did not feel safe drinking from this cup and did not. I saw that it is supposed to be safe from PBAs, but I just could not deal with it. I have not had the same experience with

Melamine plastics just as an example, but seems to have a similar feel.
