The Garland XPG12 is a natural gas powered X-Press Flat Griddle with one platen. This griddle measures 15-2/3" wide, and features a griddle plate constructed of 3/4" thick carbon steel. The lower grill plate is heated by two gas burners and one electric heating element, while the upper platen is heated by cast aluminum electric heating elements which allow it to cook both sides simultaneously, reducing cook times by up to 50%. The electric top heater is provided with replaceable quick release Teflon sheets to ensure non-stick performance. The upper grill plate is automatically raised and lowered by a lift system which is powered by a quiet actuator.
