Vulcan K20GL Gas 20 Gallon Stationary 2/3 Steam Jacketed Kettle - 100,000 BTU

The K20GL is a Stationary Gas Kettle from Vulcan that runs on 100,000 BTUs. This kettle is constructed of stainless steel, including a 316 series steel liner. The liner includes an ellipsoidal bottom. The compression draw-off valve features a perforated strainer. True working capacity is 20 gallons. The model is 2/3 jacketed. There is a spring assist cover which includes a condensate ring and a drop-down lift handle. The Power Burning Heating System is designed for high efficiency. This model runs on natural gas, but is field convertible to liquid propane with Span Gas technology.

The various controls include solid state temperature control (with warm, simmer, and boil settings), a vacuum/pressure gauge, and a pressure relief valve. A light, and eventually a shut-off, will occur when water is low. The controls, as well as the faucet bracket, are in an enclosure to protect from water. The tubular legs feature flanged feet. The steam jacket contains treated and distilled water. This unit is designed for use up to 8,999 feet in elevation. It is certified to NSF Standard #4.
