The Star Countertop Griddle boasts a stainless steel front and cool-to-the-touch bull nose so you can rest assured the griddle will be able to withstand lots of use over the years as well as no worry that you or staff will accidentally burn yourselves on the equipment. Heavy duty metal knobs let you manually control the amount of heat used for various portions of the grills cooking top, and the standing pilot means you dont have to worry about having to constantly start it because its already on. The one-inch thick steel used for the griddles plate in combination with a U shaped burner provides even heat distribution so all food cooking thoroughly without burning on one side of the plate versus the other. In terms of the bottom of the appliance, double-walled construction prevents heat from escaping and warming items around the griddle. A splashguard, front trough, chute, and drawer protect surrounding areas from getting covered in grease, making cleaning the griddle quicker and easier.
