The ice machine features a durable stainless steel exterior and requires the use of a remote condenser, which is available separately. The modular design does not include an ice bin, storage requires additional purchase of modular bin models B842S, B948S, BL1048S, BL1360S, or BL1660S. AutoAlert indicating lights display relevant machine status visibly across a room, including a light indicating when the external bin is full. WaterSense adjustable purge control optimizes water consumption, keeping the unit cleaner and operating efficiently. There is also a removable air filter in the front for easy cleaning. The MC1030MR-32 can connect to the ICELINQ app, which allows the user to access settings, cleaning, and maintenance information.
