The Scotsman BL1660S is an upright ice storage bin for top-mounted ice makers constructed with a stainless steel exterior. This ice storage bin ensures that users get fresh ice all the time with a "first in, first out" system which means that the first ice to be dropped in the bin is the first ice that comes out. The corrosion-resistant polyethylene liner on this ice storage bin resists scuffs and scratches from ice scoops. Between the exterior and the bin liner, there is a wall-to-wall bond of polyurethane insulation to preserve ice for extended periods of time.
There is a spring-loaded door hinge on this ice storage bin that keeps the pouch style door open for easier access and allows for one-handed opening and closing. An ice shield reduces spills and controls the ice flow.
The BL1660S ice storage bin includes 6" adjustable legs and a large 82 ounce plastic ice scoop.
The ice storage bin also comes with stainless steel bin top adapter for use with most Scotsman ice machines.
