The clear, stackable, polycarbonate container (model 6126-650 - additional containers sold separately) can hold up to 64 ounces of either shaved ice or blended ingredients. The 3-Horsepower blender motor can make short work of ingredients, either fresh or frozen. Easy-to-read measurement marks on the 64-ounce, graduated container delineate every 2 ounces and further break down the first 16 ounces for precise portioning.

The two-piece ice hopper that feeds the shaver is extremely heavy-duty and can hold up to 5 gallons of ice for shaving or for blending with other ingredients. The space between the inner and outer hopper parts creates an insulating air cushion to help ice last longer, so you need fewer ice refills.

Both the shaver and blender systems have integrated sensors to prevent unsafe operation. When the hopper cover is not secure, the shaver will not operate. When the blender jar and blade are not properly seated on the jar pad and engaged with the blender motor, the blender motor will not operate. There is even a drain sensor to alert when a potential liquid backup might make things messy.
