Groen braising pans combine the functions of a skillet and kettle into a single, high performance, commercial cooking solution. The BPM-40EC is equipped with electronic controls that limit temperature variations to improve food quality and consistency while also reducing labor and food costs. Moreover, these braising pans are easy to clean, have simple controls and IPX6 water resistant housing for better durability.

This 40 gallon braising pan is part of the Classic-C Model line by Groen, has a 10” pan depth, and is constructed of type 304 stainless steel. The controls are located on the right and include a power on/off switch with indicator light, temperature knob with increments showing a range of 175 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and a heating indicator light.

A smooth action, quick-tilting body with manual crank and worm-and-gear tilt mechanism provides precise control while pouring. The braising pan comes with a standard mounting bracket for the faucet as well as graduated fill level markings in both gallons and liters. Automatic shut-off controls are also included as a safety feature to maintain temperature settings.
