Commercial Microwave Ovens

Commercial microwave ovens are designed for high volume and quick cooking. These microwaves can be much larger than standard units, with some having capacities of up to 60 pounds. Most commercial microwaves are designed with a large enough interior to accommodate full-sized dishes and other large serving pieces. In addition to warming up food, industrial microwaves can also be used to thaw frozen foods, reheat precooked meals, and melt chocolate.

Some commercial microwaves have a conveyor belt for reheating large quantities of food. Others have a dedicated warming/steaming tray. Commercial microwave ovens are often installed in production line-style kitchens and designed to accommodate a certain volume and type of food.
