The second part of the equation for making a good restaurant is the food that you’re serving. To get an A, a restaurant must have food that’s on point and above the rest. It must have unique qualities, but most of all, it must be cooked with love.
- Cooking with love
Cooking your food with love is something difficult to define. It means that the plating must be spot on, it means that there must be some organization to it, and it means that there wasn’t any skimping. We want to taste the food that you’d serve your mother, not your enemy.
- Get the temperatures right
The right temperature makes all the difference in the world. We know that things are going to get cold and tepid, but they shouldn’t start out that way when they’re brought to the table. There have been too many places which think that soup should be served at room temperature.
- Microwave free
This is one of those things. If you have a commercial microwave, then you should use it, but don’t make it really obvious that you’ve reheated whatever you’ve cooked in the microwave. There are some things you can tell really easily that it’s been reheated in one – especially if the microwave has not been cleaned in a while.
So, if you happen to be going to a restaurant, what are some of the things that make it an A for you? We’d love to hear what you think in the comments.
