Freshly-ground pepper is a nice addition to your customer's dining experience, instead of pre-ground pepper in a traditional shaker. This 6 1/2" tall acrylic pepper mill adds a classy and innovative touch. You can not only provide freshly ground pepper at your tabletop or self-serve area, but with the convenient, integrated salt shaker top section, this mill/shaker combo lets them shake salt from one unit.
Manufacturer's Recommendation: Chef Specialties recommends only filling salt and pepper mills 3/4 full. Filling to the 3/4 level decreases the amount of torque on the grinding mechanism, allowing for an easier and more comfortable grind. For pepper mills, the extra space in the chamber also allows for the swelling of peppercorns in more humid environments.
