Description

The VE30 is an Electric Tilting Braising Pan from Vulcan. This free-standing pan features a capacity of 30 gallons. The product is constructed of stainless steel. Dual recessed hinges are mounted beneath the cooking pan. The lid stops in place to allow for vented cooking. The pan features an anti-stick finish, gallon/liter markings, as well as coved interior corners. The cooking surface bonds to a steel sub plate that features FastBatch rapid heating technology and embedded heating elements. A removable strainer is included with the pouring lip. The controls and enclosures are water tight.

This product features 12” legs with adjustable flanged feet. The elements are designed to shut off once the pan is lifted beyond 5°. There is a manually-operated anti-jam lifting mechanism with removable handle. Temperature controls are solid state, with a range of 50°F to 425°F. There are drop-away receiving pan supports located under the pouring lip. The unit comes shipped with electrical specs of 240v/60/3ph, though it is field convertible to 208v/60/1ph.
