The Star Countertop Electric Griddle boasts a stainless steel front and cool-to-the-touch bull nose. Throttling thermostatic controls can get the griddle to reach temperatures ranging from 150°F to 450°F to meet your cooking needs. The safety pilot cuts off the flow of gas in case the pilot goes out. Heavy duty metal knobs let you set the amount of heat used for various portions of the grills cooking top. The 1" thick chrome used for the griddles plate in combination with a 4,000 watt element every 12" provides even heat distribution. Double-walled construction prevents heat from escaping and warming items around the griddle. A splashguard, front trough, chute, and drawer protect surrounding areas from getting covered in grease, as well as providing convenient places to scrape the grease into.
