The Southbend 4601AD-3GL_LP gas range boasts stainless steel construction for its shelf, sides, and front. The cooking surface employs cast iron grates that can handle any type of pan or pot, and the burners host a non-clog design that allows for the constant and consistent flow of gas. There is a standing pilot that makes igniting the oven easier, as well as a shut-off valve located in the front of the appliance near the burner control knobs. The convection oven motor is built for high efficiency baking, with its split phase motor and overload protection, while the standard oven also provides the means to roast meats without drying them out. The door is spring-balanced, so it will stay open.
